Techincal issues have resulted in no e-mail news from the expedition.
We have heard that the first North Col team has reached the Col and
returned to basecamp. The second North Col team is acclimatising. The
Summit team has climbed to the North Col and are now back at basecamp.
Phurba, and Loppasang
have climbed above North Col but high winds are limiting the establishment
of higher camps and fixed rope.
